Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), stated on Monday at the opening of the COP27 meeting in Egypt that his country will continue to supply oil and gas “as long as the world is in need.”

“The UAE is recognized as a responsible energy supplier, and it will maintain this position for as long as there is a need for oil and gas worldwide,” he said.
The “first evaluation of the implementation of the Paris Climate Accords” will take place at the COP28 session at Dubai’s Expo City, he said.
