The 28th iteration of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) began with a glittering lighting ceremony at The Pointe at Palm Jumeirah as part of Dubai Lights, with the night sky coming to life on December 14 with a brilliant fireworks display, breathtaking fountain show, and immersive roaming parades.
Both Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment and Nakheel, including Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festival and Retail Establishment, and Omar Khoory, Chief Assets Officer at Nakheel, opened this season of the festival, which runs until January 29, 2023.
There will be something for everyone this season at The Pointe’s celebrations. The hypnotic “Sea-Wonder” carnival procession will circle Palm Jumeirah to thrill and amuse spectators of all ages with larger-than-life underwater characters strolling along the lit promenades.
