As part of its dedication to encouraging its staff to pursue a better and more active lifestyle, Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) will take part in the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) 2022.
The premier fitness program, now in its sixth year, will be held between October 29 and November 27, 2022, according to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council. In addition to a number of other sporting events, DGW will take part in friendly basketball and football games with Dubai Club for People of Determination at this year’s Challenge.
The CEO of DGW, H.E. Fahad Ahmed Alraeesi, emphasized DGW’s commitment to supporting its employees’ participation in such community events, particularly in encouraging people to embrace a healthy lifestyle and improve their fitness. Alraeesi went on to emphasize the importance of the challenge and the contribution of DGW to Dubai’s image as a healthy city, highlighting the contribution of such activities to preserving mental health and fostering good habits among the populace.
DFC shows to be the ideal platform for sports enthusiasts of every age group and physical abilities to achieve a common objective of practicing 30 minutes of daily physical activity over the course of 30 days, thanks to the range of fitness challenges offered throughout the emirates.
The challenge will provide participants the freedom to undertake various workouts and sporting events anywhere and anytime in Dubai. The community is anticipated to take part in a wide range of physical activities that support the ideas of physical fitness thanks to DFC’s flexible schedule and nature.
