An attempt to attack a suspect suspected of killing a South African man’s four-year-old daughter was caught on camera on Monday.
Bokgabo Poo, the girl, vanished last week and was later found dead.
According to regional media, Ntokozo Zikhali, 30, has been charged with kidnapping, raping, and killing the youngster. Uncertainty surrounds whether he entered a plea.
On Monday, as the case was about to come to a close in a magistrates court, the girl’s father leaped from his seat and made an attempt to grab the defendant.
According to the Times Live news site, the father could be heard screaming, “You killed my daughter.”
The following week, Mr. Zikhali will return to court for a bail hearing.
