TV personality Daddy Freeze has counseled women in violent relationships to seek treatment from experts rather than pastors.
He made this statement in response to the passing of Bimbo Ogbonna, the beloved wife of well-known auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, who died as a result of domestic abuse issues.
Daddy Freeze asserts that people should make an effort to seek professional assistance rather than advice from pastors unless the pastor is a licensed counselor or therapist.
He made reference to the popular gospel singer Osinachi‘s passing and said that she wasn’t saved by prayer.
Netizens responded negatively to his message, pointing out that he ought to have omitted Osinachi’s name.

Truth.
Some Pastors will encourage you to stay, to save the church face. They don’t really care.
If you decide to go ahead, they will ostracize you.

I left with two sons and an internal head injury which is still disturbing me since 2018. I’m still alive and grateful with no regret. Don’t stay because of the kids, you might not be as lucky as I am.

I understand your point but don’t use Osinachi as a reference point all the time. Did you know if she consulted a therapist? Do you think therapy always work? Yes it is good and right to seek professional help but that have that mindset that all the people who died from a domestic violence did not seek for professional help that is not entirely correct. It is a valid point that people must speak out and seek for help but we must be careful not to tilt towards blaming the victim and then trying to use it as next subject

Osinachi’s pastor is a Doctor, that doesn’t help with her medical condition.….
I think the best is just to consult a pure professional who is not a pastor, or at least not one’s church pastor.

Stop justifying other people’s broken marriages with the late Osinachi’ s death …… Preach love stop criticizing pastors you’re not holy📌 even therapist go through alot, it’s just by the grace of God some marriages work out🥂
